The installation of SPC wall panels generally follows the following steps, which simplifies the complexity of traditional wall panel installation and makes DIY installation possible. Please note that before starting the installation, make sure that the wall is flat, clean and free of loose objects, and if necessary, perform wall treatment first. SPC wall panel installation steps:
1. Measurement and planning:
• Use a tape measure to measure the wall size, plan the layout of the wall panels, determine the position of the first panel, consider factors such as corners, doors and windows, and arrange cutting reasonably.
2. Prepare tools and materials:
• Prepare the tools required for installation, such as rulers, pencils, cutting tools (such as saws), levels, rubber hammers, clips or special installation tools, etc.
3. Lay the first row of wall panels:
• Start from a corner of the room or the most conspicuous wall, use a level to ensure the level of the first panel, use clips to fix the panel to the wall, and leave an appropriate gap between the panel and the ground to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction.
4. Joint treatment:
•Use special edge strips or buckle strips at the end of each board to hide the joints and ensure beauty.
5. Cutting and installation:
•When encountering power sockets, switches or pipes, accurately measure and cut the wall panels to ensure that the opening position is accurate. Use cutting tools to cut carefully.
6. Install row by row:
•Install from bottom to top, check the levelness of each row, ensure that each board is tightly connected, and use a rubber hammer to gently tap to make the boards tightly combined.
7. Finishing treatment:
•The last row of wall panels may need to be cut to fit the wall height. After installation, check whether all joints and corners are well treated.
8. Clean up the site:
•After installation, clean up excess debris and dust to ensure that the installation area is clean.
