GUANGZHOU, China, October 28, 2026 - The second phase of the 140th China Import and Export Fair closed on October 27 after a five-day run at the Canton Fair Complex, and Our Company ended the session with a full pipeline of new inquiries, sample requests and factory-visit bookings from buyers across Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the Americas.

Phase 2, themed "Quality Home Life," brought together about 11,000 exhibitors in the export section, including more than 3,600 enterprises recognized as specialized and innovative leaders or single champions - some 7.6 percent more than last session. By 5 p.m. on October 27, the fair had recorded 278,000 overseas buyers from 218 countries and regions, up 13.4 percent year on year. Halls 11.2 to 13.2, home to building and decorative materials, stayed busy from opening to close.

For our team, the busiest conversations were not about one panel at one price. They were about complete interior wall systems.

Three product lines, one finishing system

UV Board. Visitors ran keys across our UV-cured boards and asked how the surface holds up after years of cleaning. That is the point of the process: the coating is cured instantly under ultraviolet light instead of being left to dry, producing a hard, closed surface in high-gloss, matte, super-matte, wood-grain and stone-look finishes. It resists scratching and yellowing, wipes clean without polishing, and arrives ready to install - no on-site painting, no dust, no curing time. Designers specified it for kitchen cabinet doors, wardrobe fronts, feature walls and retail fit-outs, where a consistent sheen across dozens of panels matters more than any single sheet. Standard format is 1220 × 2440 mm, in thicknesses from 5 mm to 18 mm, with matching edge bands on request.

WPC Wall Panels. Wood-plastic composite panels answered a different question: how to refurbish a wall in a day without a wet trade. Extruded from wood fiber and polymer, they are waterproof, termite- and rot-resistant, and dimensionally stable in humid climates - an advantage in coastal projects, bathrooms and hotel corridors. The click-lock profile lets two workers cover a room without adhesive or specialist tools, and the wood-grain and solid-color faces can be wiped down rather than repainted. Buyers from the Middle East and Southeast Asia asked for widths from 150 mm to 600 mm, with matched corner trims, end caps and adhesives quoted as one package.

Bamboo Charcoal Panels. Our bamboo charcoal range attracted buyers selling to health-conscious consumers. Bamboo charcoal powder is integrated into the core, so the panel helps regulate indoor humidity and reduce lingering odors instead of merely covering a wall. The boards are lightweight, warp-resistant and easy to cut, with a soft matte face suited to bedrooms, children's rooms, hotel guest rooms and ceilings. Several buyers requested the same panel in three price tiers, and those quotations are in preparation.

What buyers told us

"The buyers who walked past our booth in earlier years were comparing price per square meter," said , Sales Director at our company . "This year they arrive with a floor plan, a delivery window and a target retail price. They want to know whether we can hold a finish across three containers, whether the accessories ship with the order, and how fast a sample reaches their showroom. That is a better conversation for both sides."

The pattern repeated across the fair: European buyers asked about durability and recyclability, Gulf buyers about heat and humidity, American buyers about smaller mixed containers. Underneath every request sat the same logic - fewer suppliers, tighter specifications, shorter lead times.

What happens next

Our export team is now sending sample boxes across the full color range, confirming MOQs for mixed containers, and scheduling factory visits for buyers who want to see the lines before placing a first order. OEM and ODM programs remain open for distributors and brands needing their own color cards, packaging and private labels.
